Big Hole 167 cfs Beaverhead 134 cfs

If you want to catch big fish on streamers, go early in the morning or wait until the sun goes behind the mountains. I went again this evening and tried them a bit too early when the sun was still on the water and nothing. Like magic after the sun was gone I got three and all over 18 inches. I’m off early in the morning to the Missouri and looking forward to it. If it;s cloudy you can bet we will be throwing the same streamers as on the Big Hole. If it’s sunny, hoppers should work just fine.

By the way these fish were caught on a #4 black wooly bugger.
