It’s been snowing since this morning but two hearty souls from Whitehall, Mt. with their drift boat in tow showed up at the shop wanting a shuttle. They came back about 5:00 pm, cold and wet but wearing big smiles. They started out with a San Juan worm and had such good luck with it, they stayed with it all day and caught bookoo fish-14 to 18 inches. I wonder if they had tried bologna, they might have caught a bigger fish?
I thought, if they had such good luck with a San Juan, I’ll close the shop and wander down to the river and really nail them with streamers. I caught one.
