Big Hole, 664cfs
The nights have been quite cold so the water temp. in the morning is about 39 which makes for tough fishing. By mid afternoon it has been getting up to about 48. This afternoon Art and I did a quick R&D (research and development) trip and the baetis were coming off big time. It was still pretty cool and getting colder when we got off the river about 7:30 but they were still coming up to bwo’s.
The students from U of M who I mentioned in my report a couple days ago just sent me an e-mail with the picture of the brown they caught on the Big Hole yesterday. I’m going to have to get a bigger screen. It measured 27 inches, what a beautiful fish. Good for you guys.
