The Big Hole River is closed to fishing from Dickie Bridge to the Jefferson River. The river remains on Hoot-Owl restrictions from the Headwaters to Dickie Bridge. We will keep you posted of any changes to restrictions as they are made public. For more information, you can read the news release from FWP.

In further Big Hole Valley news, the Grouse Creek fire, located about 10 miles southwest of Wise River, has grown to over 1400 acres. Many thanks to the fire crews for their tireless work, and to our local community for their support of those working to control and supress the fire!
