Big Hole River 340 cfs, water temp 49
Great day with nymphs, midges and mayfly patterns on top on the upper river and skwalas starting on the lower. Tomorrow should be even better with skwalas moving up and all the rest of the patterns working as well. Today I watched from a high bank on a certain spot of the river where there were bows ranging from 16 to 22 inches feeding constantly with noses poking out at will. It was just fun watching them and hell I didn’t even have my fly rod with me.
