I refer to junk as just a lot of fur, feathers and rubber legs. All these patterns have been working the past few days. Nothing in particular exceeds in performance.
The river continues to rise and fall every day. The fishing for the most part has been good. Everybody has been catching fish and most reports are on the up and up.
Big streamers, big nymphs and of course going to the dark side is working well. Dead drifting along with twitching seems to work better than fast strip.
Temps have been cold with snow and rain just about every day. Next week looks like a nice warming trend which should produce some top water action.
